Sobriety of mind is about being free from the intoxication of fear or confusion. It’s about looking at the roar and saying, 'I see the threat, but I won't let it paralyze me.'

Dancing with the devil? Like the other day I posted a video about me being at a gym that I got kicked out out of because of a guy who I wasn’t a good victim because I exposed him and his abuse of trying to intimidate me that they gun and so everybody there got activated and today he posted videos of the girls, lifting extremely heavy. Like he has some power over them. “Be alert of mind the enemy devil proars like a lion” after the Girl, being super heavy, he exposed him putting his hand on gun

    Frequently Asked Questions

Gym intimidation, often referred to as gymtimidation, involves the use of a public fitness space to exert embodied power over others. In this episode of The Lion’s Roar, we discuss how individuals may use fitness or the threat of violence to make others feel small or unsafe. This behavior creates a heavy psychological atmosphere where a person attempts to reclaim territory or influence through intimidation tactics, even after being confronted or removed from the environment.

Embodied power in a gym setting refers to the way an individual uses their physical presence or fitness level to exert control or dominance over others. This can manifest as psychological intimidation where the person attempts to build a threatening atmosphere. As discussed in the podcast, this power dynamic is often used to make others feel like 'victims' in a space that should be focused on health and safety, requiring specific courage to expose and confront.

The verse from 1 Peter, which warns to be alert of mind because the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, serves as a metaphor for the constant nature of psychological threats. Nia explains that this perfectly captures the feeling of an intimidator who circles a space, looking for a way back in to exert power. By staying alert and refusing to be a quiet victim, individuals can better recognize these circling threats and take action to maintain their safety and mental well-being.

Responding to extreme gymtimidation requires the courage to look a threat in the face and refuse to stay quiet. The podcast highlights the importance of exposing intimidation and not allowing an 'enemy' to hold an invisible leash over the space. Even when tactics shift to digital platforms or indirect harassment, recognizing the psychological atmosphere being built is the first step in reclaiming your power and ensuring that public spaces remain safe for everyone.
