    El título debe ser corto (idealmente entre 12 y 15 palabras), específico y atractivo, funcionando como un "escaparate" que invite a la lectura. Por su parte, el resumen o abstract no debe superar las 250 palabras y debe ser autosuficiente, resumiendo los objetivos, métodos, resultados clave y la conclusión principal. Es crucial elegir palabras clave que no repitan términos del título para ampliar el rango de búsqueda en bases de datos y mejorar la visibilidad internacional.

    Existen varios "pecados capitales" en la ética académica, como el plagio y el auto-plagio (reutilizar textos propios sin citarlos). También es incorrecta la "autoría de regalo", que consiste en incluir a personas que no contribuyeron significativamente al trabajo. Para evitar conflictos de autoría, se recomienda el uso de la taxonomía CRediT, un sistema que detalla específicamente la contribución técnica, de software o de redacción de cada integrante del equipo.

    La tecnología actual facilita la escritura colaborativa mediante plataformas como Google Docs o Authorea, que permiten la edición en tiempo real. Los gestores de referencias como Zotero o Mendeley son esenciales para organizar la bibliografía y aplicar formatos de cita (APA, Vancouver) sin errores. Además, existen herramientas de inteligencia artificial como Elicit para buscar literatura o Manusights para diagnosticar el manuscrito antes del envío, siempre que se usen como asistentes y no para sustituir la autoría humana.
