You have to treat your mental health like a vital piece of lab equipment—if it breaks, the whole experiment stops.
Next month, I will be senior high school student (Grade 11). I hope it's not stressing. I will try not to pressure myself and take small scores seriously. I'm done with that stress life. Btw I want a recommendation for college courses after Grade 12. I really want to be a scientist, I hope it's not costly and it will happen. I really want to help my parents and get out of this toxic place. I want to work on lab and experimenting something or just anything that has a good salary.

If you are interested in becoming a scientist, you should look into degrees such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Medical Technology. These courses provide the foundational knowledge required for laboratory jobs and research roles. When choosing a path, consider your specific interests in experimenting and discovery, as these fields offer various specializations that can lead to fulfilling careers in both the public and private sectors.
Many high-salary science degrees focus on specialized laboratory work, such as Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, and Clinical Laboratory Science. These professions are in high demand and often provide the financial stability needed to support a family. By focusing on these technical fields during your career planning, you can find roles that involve hands-on experimenting while ensuring a competitive income that rewards your expertise and dedication.
Grade 11 career planning should involve researching state universities or scholarship programs that offer affordable college degrees in the sciences. Many institutions provide high-quality education in laboratory sciences without the high cost of private tuition. By maintaining steady performance in senior high school and exploring financial aid options early, you can pursue your dream of working in a lab while minimizing the financial pressure on your parents.
