Biography & Author's Journey

Brad Stulberg has built his career at the intersection of performance, public health, and the search for durable excellence. Educated at the University of Michigan, where he earned a BA in 2008 and an MHSA in 2012, he came to these questions through two early tracks: a deep involvement in athletics and an academic interest in health and health systems. An early period in management consulting became a pivotal turning point. By his own account, the experience intensified both his drive and his encounter with burnout, pushing him toward a body of work focused on how people can strive ambitiously without collapsing under the strain.
